Recently in dealing with my brother in law who has MS and two other friends with cancer I have noticed that they all have many needs. They somehow fall into this "gray area" where they need help but most organizations say they are too young to qualify for services. I am starting to think that maybe I should start some kind of organization to help fill these needs. As an individual I just can't help them all on my own, but something must be done. So for now I guess I would say I'm in the research stages in trying to find out how to go about doing this and what exactly are the most pressing needs of these people who are falling through the cracks. What things do you find yourself needing that your insurance and/or medicare won't cover? Or that age is preventing you from qualifing for?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Thru my doctor's office I've just found out about, and have been accepted into Project Access. Doctors and pharmacy give their time for free. My neurology appt. will cost $500.00, but he belongs to this project and is waiving his fees!
You can find out more about this by contacting Anchorage Project Access at AnchorageProjectAcccess.org
Good luck! I think it is wonderful what you are doing!
