I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I was only DX 2002, a friend in 1998 suspected it, 1981 was clearly an exacerbation that would have been recognized nowadays easily, 1978 was a clear attack that I remember, and in the earlier 1970s some strange 'allergic' reactions that were actually SX.
So that's over 35 years of memory

My sister was diagnosed with MS a few months before me. Her MS was primary progressive from the beginning and she now resides in a nursing home. She is unable to walk or care for herself but her cognitive functions I would say are better than mine.
My cousin has had MS for about 12 years I think and she is doing well, still works part time but suffers from fatigue and muscle weakness and some cognitive issues.
