When my MS first really reared it's ugly head was when my legs and feet were affected with sudden pain. I mean "pain" so that I would cry in bed and could do nothing to get any relief. If you are in pain, you must contact your neuro or primary care physician and get yourself to a pain management specialist. This is very much a part of MS I'm afraid to say. In fact, there is a sub-group here, "MS People Dealing with MS Pain" and I think you will find some threads dealing with leg pain.
Good Luck, and don't be afraid to contact your doctor anytime a symptoms lasts more than 24 hours and affects your day-to-day activities. That is what they are there for!
