Hello all. I know I've been asking a lot of questions but before I found this group, I did not have anyone to talk to. I'm wondering...is it typical when undergoing IV steroid treatment that the needle is left in the arm during the duration of the treatment (e.g. 3 or 5 days)? I have only done the IV once and it helped me quite a bit. Once the needle was in place, the nurse taped it and a small amount of tube to my arm and gave me this net sleeve thing to wear over it. I would like to ask my doctor for this treatment again because it helped me quite a bit during my last flare up, but I got tired of people asking me what it was, and it's not long sleeve season. Also, does the IV treatment have to be administered at the same time everyday?
