My maternal grandmother suffered with strokes and 'fits'...both my mother and my younger (by 5yrs)sister with MS and I have suffered from TN for more than 10yrs.
Is there anyone out there with the same family history?I am desperate for answers.please help

I noticed your post b/c I have TN 2ndary to MS - it's what got me to get tested for MS. There is also ALS and Chronic Fatigue in my family - all neurological, but strangely I've also heard that my dad's heart attack (myocardial infarction) may also be somehow related - I'm the last person to explain exactly how they might be related... some kind of a geneic predisposition meeting the right virus/environment. So sorry to hear the surgery hasn't worked for you. Before I found treatment, I found that more 3 glasses of wine made eating bearable (CNS depressant, right?) sorry to be a bad influence ;) Diane

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
