Hi, My friend's daughter in law has MS pretty bad. She told me she is taking some type of medicine that is experimental and she thinks it's used on cancer patients. (I swore she said it was like chemotherapy) Anyways, after only a couple of treatments she says she feels great and has all kinds of energy and her fatigue is gone. Does anyone know what it is? I told her I'd like to take it and she said she thought it was only for people with advanced MS. (Guess I'm not that bad yet.) If it's that good they should offer it to everyone. Any ideas what it might be, please let me know.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Novantrone is Chemo, causes heart attacks down the road, and really rips apart your immune system. Sure, it Works, NOW, but you pay for it later.
LDN is a capsule you get compounded into 3.0 MG Or 4.5 MG (hence, Low Dose), and has nothing to do with DRUGS. It's like a homeopathic dose that starts to help orchestrate your immune system.
Confusing NovantroneE with NaltrexonE is like confusing Cyanide with Dust.
How can someone take a medication and they don't know its name? She doesn't know what the are putting in her body?
'she said she thought it...'
So she doesn't know what she's taking and what it's for.?
I have SPMS and there's nothing for us, I'm told.
Ask her questions:enlighten us.
They're putting 3.0 or 4.5 MG in capsules. I've seen how Skip's does it, ver impressive.
I said the dose is so small it's like homeopathic. It's not homeopathic itself, just a comparison.
I got 1.5 MG pills so I can take TWO (3.0) or THREE (4.5), NEVER 1.5, well, except there was this one night I only took one by mistake.
As far as the LDN is concerned, standard dosing for alcoholics and opiate addicts is 50mg daily. For MS it is 3-5 mg daily, hence LOW DOSE Naltrexone.
Hope this adds some clarity to this discussion.
