I hope someone can help me understand this a little better. I recently had a MRI done because I have been having dizzy spells, numbness on my right side, headaches, and muscle weakness.
Well my findings on the MRI were:
There are numerous small foci of abnormal FLAIR and T2 prolongation in the deep white matter tracts, most prominently in the subcortial portion of the right parietal lobe with numerous other smaller lesions seen subcortically throughout the supratentorial brain. These lesions are not associates with enhancement, diffusion restiction, or hemorrahage. In light of the symtomalogy and the patients age (i'm 31) the possibility of demyelinating disease could be considered as well. Follow-up imaging or other clinical evaluation may be necessary. The brain parenchyma, ventricles and subarachnoid spaces otherwise appear unremarkable as do the sinuses and musculoskeletal structures.
Impression:
Leukoencephalopathy suspicious for underlying demyelination disease with differential considerations as discussed above.
I also have this ringing in my right ear that started on Oct. 29th my right eye feels "heavy". When I bend my neck to my chest i have a feeling that goes down my spine. I still have a frozen arm during the night.
My neuro thinks it might be MS or migraines what do you guys think? BTW I dont have migraines I have headaches

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
it stinks like MS.....sorry, hope I am wrong.
Those were the worst words I heard. I hope for your sake its not. But it sure sounds like it.I would definitely be talking to ur neuro and starting a treatment soon if it is,

Demyelinating Diseases In Brief
Demyelinating diseases are those in which myelin is the primary target. They fall into two main groups: acquired diseases (i.e., multiple sclerosis) and hereditary neurodegenerative disorders (i.e., the leukodystrophies). Although their causes and etiologies are different, they have the same outcome: CNS demyelination. Without myelin, nerve impulses are slowed or stopped, leading to a constellation of neurological symptoms.
