I have weakness in my right leg and I am frustrated. They tell me therapy and exercise will make it strong again. Has anyone gone threw this and is there any advice?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I find when my legs are weak and don't want to walk anymore, trying to walk more (i.e. 'exercise') doesn't make it better, it makes it worse.
IT's like telling someone with an empty tank of gas they should just Turn the Key and Exercise the Starter.
Ain't going no where without energy/fuel
best, emmie

i have a lot of weakness on my left side but i also get it on the right. when it is bad, the best thing is to just rest, if possible. and be careful. on those days that my leg(s) feel weak is when i have most of my falls.
it will get better for you.
