I haven't been on DS for a while. I've been fighting some new symptoms and trying to hold my life together. Work has been hectic, as well as other things. As a result...I barely have the strength to get to bed at night let alone have the strength to type. As for the MS, things are changing, that is to say worsening. I am not able to walk for great distances, actually, it is getting difficult to walk down the hall from my classroom to the ladies' room. The weakness in my arms is also worsened and worries me. It all makes doing even little things at home tough too. My dr. recently started me on a water pill. I have been retaining fluid and my legs were looking like Fred Flintstone. The pain was incredible. The water pill has helped. Tomorrow, I have an evoke potential test, one of my favorites!!
Oh well, I will try to get to my journal and maybe try to stay in some discussions again. I have missed being here. Sherl

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
