I am having a serious relapse. I am having painful leg spasms that make it very hard to walk. Also back pain ,numbness, tingling in arms and legs. I had four days of IV solumedrol. I'm taking two baclofen and my neuro. just ordered some darveset. I'm really worried b/c I can barely walk. I'm having an MRI on Monday. Has anyone had similar problems?

what I can say is MS SUCKS! and affects everyone differently. Baclofen helps me sleep better, the solumedrol has its ups and downs "literately"! pain meds have there dowside as well. I have been working out in the morning, some basic stretching, some yoga, some light excercise and it seems to be helping, especially my attitude..Check some of the conversations on marijauana, could help with the spasms. hang in there!

Hi! I've been in the same boat...can hardly walk. had a pt session of evaluation only and the severe pain came after that. for past two days i've tried to get up and move as much as possible. The result is up all night crying in pain. i'm gonna take it easy today and see if not walking will help. exercise just seems so drastic. no pain no gain? i don't know?

Ask your doctor about Cymbalta. It stopped the pain in my legs from spasms immediately, and might be worth trying out.

Bacolfen really did not work for me. I went on Tizandine 4mg, one in the morning and then it was increased to one at night. I now take Zanaflex, which is Tizandine, but a time released form and this really works. It also does not knock me out because of being timed released.

I find that I HAVE to stretch a lot in order to help with the spasms...WHen laying down, I have strong leg spasms and literally kick like crazy...I have been on mirapex for a long while which is generally used for Parkinsons patients but I take a very SMALL dosage...SOme people are prescribed this for restless leg syndrome as well....IT HAS WORKED AMAZINGLY WELL for me!!! The baclofen and other muscle relaxents just make you tired and feeling weak I think....I stay clear of as much meds as possible and have progressively improved from a bad relapse a while ago...I will not ever take steroids! I think, in the long run, they are dangerous..just my opinion

try eating a few cherries.i went thru leg pain and foot pain for last 2-3 weeks and the cherries worked wonders for me! i'm feeling good now.i've been eating 3-4 marachino cherrys every 3-4 hours for the past couple of days and i'm now feeling no pain. i always try to eat my medicines instead of taking a pill. lol

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
