having a second child while having MS?

deleted_user
I would love to have another child- my MS got worse and I finally got diagnosed after my 1st child.
I have been told your symptoms will go away when you are pregnant and when you have the child everything will come back-WORSE!
What are your experiences?

One of the first thoughts that crossed my mind after dx was 'thank God they didn't diagnose me sooner or I might never have had my two boys who are the loves of my life.
That said, for the moment, other than TN my MS is pretty mild. Talk to your doctor, consider where your MS is at and where it may be heading. My understanding is that you're likely to have an exacerbation after you give birth. In hindsight, I think what I thought was post partum depression may have been some kind of MS mood swing flare or something. Best of luck to you - tough decision - go with your heart.
All that said, it's scary but I think it would be worth the risk to enjoy that aspect of life.
