A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
This is a very good question and I would guess your doctor didnt really have a good way of doing this...I mean ..unless you put yourself in a bubble and dont allow any social contact with the outside world including friends and family than how is this possible?..after the extensive research I did on my own behalf when I was DX'd, I made the choice to go the natural non drug route. I became a vegetarian, I eat only organic foods when possible and I nurish my body and especially my already weakened immune system with the foods and nutrition it needs to keep it in tip top condition. I am healthier now than I have been in ages. I have caught 2 colds in 2 years since being DX'd and they lasted all of a day ( a good 24 hours). I attribute this to the fact that I let the my body do what it needs to get rid of the virus...I dont suppress the symptoms with drugs that seem to prolong colds and whatever you have..if you suppress the symptoms and keep the body from eliminating the virus than even a cold can be devistating. The same with when someone who has MS that has an excerbation is recommended to just rest..to do nothing (as in just rest, rest, rest) and it will severely shorten the length and severety of the excerbation. I always found it interesting that when I was taking drugs when first dx'd they would tell me take this and this and that for the pain when you start to hurt real bad and go relax..well..hmm...if I just go and relax for a couple hours without taking drugs the pain goes away as well...the bottom line is that your body can and will heal itself but it is hard for it to do so when it is being suppressed by drugs or fighting the side effects of drugs. just remember stress is another trigger for relapses and may be more prominent in ones life than just getting sick..and will in many cases wear you down enough to make you sick...I find that yoga, destressing myself, eating healthy and organically has made me a much healthier human which helps me in defending myself against illnesses...just my 2 or 3 cents worth..... :-)
Peace be with you and yours now and forever
