(if this is already answered, I apologize for the repeat, I did not know how to start a discussion)
I wonder if people with Infantile diabetes (those who need insulin injections) spend so much of their discussion group time/space focused on their insulin shots?
I knew a woman who took one shot a day and had been doing that since she was 3 or 4 and now was early 20s. As most diabetics in her position she not only had to always be ultra careful about what she ate but faced a future of quite possibly losing a limb or limbs, blindness and more. This is not to say anything comparing her to any of us or to say diabetes is worse/better than MS, I don't believe there is any such thing as a better or worse chronic disease.
Just wondering why our shots are such a MAJOR topic on MS boards?
