I just wanted to share something positive about the company I work for. I'm employed through a Staffing Agency who sent me to work for the city doing data entry full-time.
The first week I did manage to drag myself through the 40 hours, since then I've gone downhill in the hours departement and increasing symptoms of MS. I've had to take several days off, had doctor's appointments, etc. They have been sooo accomdating. I eventually told them I have MS because the heat in this building went overboard due to a broken A/C. They understood that I went home when it went over 80.
The beginning of the week I asked my supervisor if I can reduce my hours to 30 a week and she said she sees no problem with that, that I'm doing wonderful work for them. I was sooo happy, afraid actually to lose my job. They made it clear that they need someone working 40 hours per week.
Today, the fire alarm went off. As I got out of my cube, my supervisor comes up to me and asks if I can make it down the stairs. I said sure, I can go downstairs, what would happen though if I couldn't? She replied that they would stay with me in the stairwell until the fire department came or help me downstairs. I thought I was going to break out in tears.
I'm blessed to have found this place and will be sad when my assignment ends, but it made me believe in people again and their kindness goes a long way.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
