I have just recently been diagnosed. I did not realize how much the heat actually contributes to my symptoms and pain. I am having severe symmetrical foot pain. I have tried everything. However, I just learned an awesome trick that works for me. Maybe it can help someone else. Get one of those big gel ice packs that stays squishy (not the hard ones). I figured out that if I would rest the "outside of my feet and ankles" on the ice pack for around 15 minutes - I get about 30 minutes absolutely pain free. It is a heavenly feeling! Any other tips/tricks? Already on Neurontin and take lots of magnesium and seroquel and cymbalta and clonazepam. So - I do NOT want anymore prescription meds. I need some natural relief.
