I get the sense (at least from my doctors) that I may be alone on this one. It seems to get harder and harder for me to keep on weight, because my digestive system will not work properly. There are things I can do to help on my own, but the neurologist refers me to the gastroenterologist, who refers me back to the neurologist who refers me back....well you get the point. The doctors say that the M.S. and digestive symptoms have nothing to do with eachother, and basically I just have to live with it. Very frustrating! I'm concerned I'm going to start wasting away! I know when one problem acts up, so does the other. Yes, stress could be a part of both, but the almost total lack of sensastion at times and/or nerve pain in my abdominal area seems to show me that they are somehow related. I have also seen articles about people with M.S. having absorption problems. Does anyone have significant digestive issues?
