There have been alot of discussions on head/neck injury etc. I am not saying that MS is (necessarily) caused from this. I think MS is a very complex condition with possibly more than one variable involved. But...any doctor should know that if the brain and spinal cord are traumatized you can have neurological symptoms. These symptoms can be delayed months and even years. Heh, if you hurt yourself and/or have back/neck pain why wouldn't you want to get it checked out? I started by going to a rehab doctor with neck/back pain. The medical doctor referred me to an upper cervical Chiro! At first I was reluctant...tried the Chiro thing. Then I started doing research and thought it would be worth a try. Dr Elster, in Denver has info about upper cervical care and MS. I was amazed at the testimonies of many, many patients who have gone back to the neurologist with no new lesions or even past lesions gone. This was encouraging to me. Whatever you think about all this, I wouldn't feel right about not sharing it. See www.erinelster.com and see what you think. I'd be curious.
