I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Chinese medicine seems to focus a lot more on low grade adrenal deficiency (Called Kidney deficiency in that system, but its a rough translation and incorporates more than the kidney organ as we know it). They use herbal tonics that support and nourish the adrenals.
I would suggest going to see a doctor of Chinese medicine, perhaps trying acupuncture, but at least getting an herbal formula to help rebuild your adrenals after a dose of cortico-steroids.
I am pre diabetic and am, now, on Metformin. I got a 3 day infusion of Solu medrol in July and they did the glucose monitoring. My blood sugar levels were high, during the infusion, but went back to normal afterwards.
