Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of MS affecting blood pressure or pulse? I could swear that the last two times I had a flare...it made my blood pressure extremely high, as well as my pulse! My BP runs a little high normally anyway like around 140/90 but not much higher than that.....when having a flare it was 170/110 and 156/160...and my pulse can run around 100-104 while sitting when having a flare! I do know that the brain controls some of our vitals, so it makes sense to me...I also know I have a lesion in my brain stem...not sure how deep it is, MS specialist has never really voiced much concern over it yet. I have just always heard that the brain stem is not a place that you want lesions...so I dont know, any help will be appreciated...I am back on my BP pills, and after only a couple days it has came down, I could stand to lose 30-40lbs, but High blood pressure runs in my family whether overweight or not. I just know it is majorly high during an attack =(

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
