I'm new here but I have a question. I have rrms, dx 06, use a cane. My abdomen has been tight for a couple years now and I've been able to deal with it, but I've noticed that last year and now again this year at the hottest times of the year, the muscle is SO tight, I can't walk straight up. I've gone from being dizzy after standing 10 mins. to being in EXCRUCIATING pain when standing for more than 2 mins. I have to walk all hunched over and then my back starts to hurt from the added pressure of that so basically I'm only comfortable when I sit! Last year I told the doctor about it so he ran some addtl mris and found lesions on my spine that were probably the culprit, but my question is, do you think I should ask him about using a wheelchair? I can't walk or stand when the pain is this bad and I've tried working it out, but basically I'm trapped without being able to get around. I use a cane now, but that does nothing for this and I guess I just wanted to know if someone else has exp this and if they found the wheelchair to be useful. Thanks for the help.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
