I joined DailyStrength because I just had Gastric By-Pass Surgery. I also have secondary progressive MS. MS issues I am dealing with are mobility, weakness, and fatigue. I'm OK around the house, but use a cain or walker when out. I frequently need help up out a chair and recently got a lift-chair and ADA toilet. My main fears are: 1- being a burden to my family and 2 - being too heavy for my caregivers. Hopefully, weight loss will decrease my #2 fear and improve my fatigue and mobility.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
