My sister in law found out she was pregnant and less than a month later was diagnosed with MS. She is still in her first trimester (though the end is very soon) and because of this can't receive any treatment. She's refusing to even see specialists because 'there will be nothing they can do'. Meanwhile, she is having muscle spasms and her arm is starting to curl.
Please, please, if anyone has any experience, any advice they can offer to encourage her to seek treatment, establish herself with specialists, and educate herself about what is going on, I would so appreciate anything you can tell me. She and my brother are both so special to me and I want to be able to help them.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
usually pregnancy keeps those issues at bay. there's some daring preg women pioneering the way on LDN through term and breast feeding, they'll be reporting their progress along the way. One has been reporting on her offspring's health as well (doing awesome)
good luck to her, I hope things settle down soon
And we'll all say prayers for her & her family :)
