Yesterday I brought my resignation into work. I have to find another job but I don't have a college degree. I have worked as a CNA, Activity director, and cleaned for people and for a school. I can't do any of those jobs anymore because my legs won't let me. Does anyone have any ideas for a different job? When I look in the paper all the jobs I could qualify for I have to be on my feet. I looked into medical transcribing this week but I have to take a 30 hour course. Help any ideas?!

You can do the medical transcribing online. . .i'm looking into that also. Good luck.

Just a thought - I have been an at home medical transcriptionist working for a local Urgent Care organization for 10+ years. I left in August because of the stressful environment and signed on to Keystrokes who does this clinic's overload. These large transcription companies are not what they appear to be. There are quotas to meet, QA which is obsurd and formats to learn and relearn. My advice is to stay away from MedQuist and Keystrokes. Know your terminology and be alert to ESLs. This job has been good to me for the past 15 years with 3 different local companies but I have decided that there is too much IC involved now and lower payscale and more stress. Good luck and I hope it is for you. I am on the downside of it for now. I too, have done this so long that I am having a terrible time finding a job for which I am qualified. I don't know Quickbooks, Excel... I guess I am a dinosaur. Good luck and I hope that your experiences will be better than my current experience.

I used to be in the HR department at a call center here in Canada. They are all sit down jobs, not too stressful, the money wasn't bad either! Good luck!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
