If his IgG is 6832 then his MM is getting worse = he's probably anemic = low energy and shortness of breath. Is he in pain?
Has the family talked to him about Hospice care to keep him comfortable until he passes? If your brother in law has MediCare then Hospice services will be covered.
In California there are many different agencies that do Hospice type care. I have asked around and found out which agencies friends have appreciated. Most agencies have social workers and RN case managers that help the family understand what the client (ie in this case your brother in law) is going through.
