This is a bizarre subject, and I apologize.....but I need to do a bit of preparation. My mother-in-law, who is 85 and has had some health problems, is set on a certain funeral home for herself at her passing (it could be years, it could be anytime, who knows?) She used this home for her husband who passed a year ago at Christmas time. It is the one funeral home I cannot tolerate due to chemicals. It is a lovely home, and their family has always used it, so I am not blaming her. But this is a case where if I am not there, my husband will not take it well at all. I went to his father's viewing and had to leave after 10 minutes due to the chemicals. Then I could not be at the funeral. He has never talked to me about it, but I know that he resented it greatly. Like we can turn these things on and off. I need to get a decent mask that doesn't make me look like a monster, and get it now so it's ready. I have already purchased masks from "I CAn Breathe" years ago....I find they really don't help all that much, and that I can't breathe well with them. I have to be able to tolerate the thing through a couple of hours of viewing, plus a funeral. My MCS is getting worse from exposures. Does anyone have any suggestions for me on this? Any types of masks and where I can find them? No good telling me they will "have to understand", because they just plain don't. I appreciate any help you can give me. THank you!
