Hi Hi all, i was treated last october for MRSA in my right knee. They InD'd it and after a 4day stay i was sent home with a 10day Vanco IV 2wice a day. They said that it was all killed off and that i didnt have to worry. Being a firefighter and paramedic i am always around it but didnt think of it til i got hit with it. Everything has been fine til last week when i got a boil in my right thigh. I ran to my doctor with it and he gave me Doccycline 2wice a day for 1week, and Bactro Ban twice a day. My fears are 2fold. 1 what if the MRSA becomes resistent to these? and 2, My Physical Ability and shape are my livelyhood, so can i still go to my gym? should i avoid it and just give up for fears of community aquired? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
