I'm just thinking ahead for our doctors' appt. next Friday. Are your kids on any type of special diet? Not only does my daughter have trouble swallowing pills and a needle phobia, she is an extremely picky eater!!! I know healthy eating probably helps Crohn's. How do you get a stubborn 10-year to try/eat new and healthier foods?!?! Of fruits and veggies, she will eat apples, madarin oranges, sometimes pears, sometimes grapes, green beans, corn, and occasionally grilled zucchini. She has tried many other types and says she doesn't like them. Meat-wise she will branch out a little further, but she is nowhere near adventurous. I am really hoping that in the long run, Crohn's will make her a healthier person because she will have to pay attention to what she eats. Any advice?
