Just reading a few of the topics and have read similar over the last few weeks. How come people think because their world is still turning then everyone should be o.k, some people can be so out of touch with people they have known for years, some how forgeting what you have been through or think your o.k now or at least you should beby now, and still they carry on with their selfish out of touch ways. My issues are with my boss (who for the record is the coldest person your ever likely to meet) sent me a letter today how can she help me back to work (her resigning would help) i know i'm in for a tough time once i go back she doesn't do sympathy, last year one of our staff had been through alot including a bereavment she had time off, came back and my boss said to her if you need me for anything tell me (thats because she has to say that) I am part of the management team and was sitting with boss when this lady came into our ofice and asked for a quiet word and she walked out my boss said to me quote " she is doing my head in i know i said i'd help but i feel like her bloody baby sitter i've had enough of this" unquote and she also left the room. Gobsmacked was not the word i would use for my reaction. THAT is what i have to look forward to, WHY do we have these people around us ?????????????????????????

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
