In the process of figuring out what's wrong with my gallbladder, doctors found a "huge" hiatal hernia that will probably need surgical repair. Is this yet another muscle weakness problem common to mito folks?

I too have a hiatel hernia. I have severe stomach problems (Pain, reflux, fullness). My GI Dr. does not think my hernia is causing any of my symptoms. I think he is dead wrong. Dr. won't give me any meds.
