OK I received a call from the nurse at the genetics office. She told me the blood results were in and that my sugar levels are a little low and that my pyruvate was high. She gave me some choices to think over. This is where I am looking for some help and guidance.OK she told me with all my symptoms and blood work it seems like a Mito Complex 1 Diagnosis and she gave me a few options that I could do next.
1. I could go through alot of time consuming blood work.
2. I could do the cocktail to see if that helps.m
3. Or I could have a muscle and skin biopsy..
I am now turning to everyone here to ask for some opinions and advice cause I know some people here have went through the same issues or are going through them now... Please any help or advice will help me so much... I feel so lost right now.....

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
It seems to me that from my experience with my wife, that the biopsy is the only conclusive way of nailing this thing. Blood tests etc can only give an indication and its not until that they get to the muscle/tissue that the docs will be able to say yes or no. Take care, Elmo
