I have mitochondrial disorders with everything becoming involved within my system. My eyes don't move, my ears hurt with increase hearing loss, bladder retention, dysphasia, heart spasms, autonamic neuropathy & peuripheral neuropathy. Just had an ileostomy put in 07/07. Ever since I've been extremely depressed. Mayo clinic says that mitochondrial disorders acquire depression. I have short term memory besides. Do any of you experience many of these systems? I am 49 y/o female that acquired this in 2003 and progressed rapidly. Has depression affected your daily thinking. I'm on Cymbalta, see a counselor and a psychiatrist. Please R.S.V.P.
