My doctor told me yesterday that if my DH and I are planning on getting pregnant when he comes home I need to start back on my folic acid. So I am going back on that starting today. What else can I start taking to get my body ready for pregnancy.
We are really praying that this time we can concieve and this baby stick!

My doctor told me that I should take a prenatal vitamin and also folic acid on top of that to build up the folic acid. Good luck!!!

Do you have any blood clotting disorders like MTHFR? Did the doctor tell you how much to take. Other vitamins such as B-12 can help clotting disorders.

No, I don't think I have a blood clotting problems said she she found nothing wrong with me on any exams they did. She just told me to start taking folic acid did not say how much. I have heard there is an herb out there that make you more fertile I don't know if this is true or not.

Then I would just take exactally what the doctor told you to take. The ladies on the infertility board may know something about the herb. If I was you I'd post that question there. I KNOW one of those ladies will know.

My doctor still has me taking the prescription prenatals and iorn I was taking while pregnant. He said that I would do better with these than taking a over-the-counter supplement.

Prenatals, folic acid, if you don't exercise already, now would be a good time to start. Eating a lot of fruits and veggies will help as well too. Oh and if you are drinking caffeine, maybe give some of that up as well. All these things will help. As for the herbs, I would not take anything without talking to your doctor first. Good luck. I hope we are hearing good news from you very soon.
