I lost my son on Sept 17 and I am still bleeding. I miscarried at 14 weeks but the baby had already died at 8-10 weeks. The question is --its been 5 weeks and Im still having bright red bleeding-im due for a beta tomorrow it was still at 31. When I had my daughter (full term) I had bleeding for 6 weeks so this seems a little odd for a 14 week pregnancy.
Is this normal? I didnt have a d/c because the US showed everything had expelled on its own. I'll call my doctor but I wanted to see what everyone else has went through.
Thanks

I'm very sorry for your loss. My first m/c, i was about 5 weeks along i bled for about 5 1/2 weeks after. My hcg lvl also went up and down very slowly over this time. My Dr. had taken multiple ultrasounds and said everything looked clear. I know a m/c is very difficult and prolonged bleeding and such tends to add to the stress, but i'm sure everything will be fine. Just stay in touch with your Dr. I hope this helps ease your mind a bit. I'm here if you need to talk.

I usually bleed/spot for about 2 months after a d&c. But if you are concerned, it may be best to call your doc.

I actually just contacted my doc about this today. I had a D & C Oct 9th and have now been spotting for 2 weeks. They told me anywhere from 4-6 weeks is completely normal...hope this helps!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
