for those of you that have had c sections how long does your body stay in shock from the surgery? Or maybe not shock--maybe how long does it actually take your body to resume back to normalcy? I know everyone is different, but I wanted to hear from others that have c sections to see what they have experienced. There is nothing wrong with me. It's been almost 3 months since my emergency c section and I'm returning to life's normal activities and I'm just noticing that maybe muscles I havent' used in awhile tend to be sore for a day or two.

I had 2 sections with and i felt good after a couple of weeks. However I do get twinges of pain along my scar once in awhile. In the beginning doc told me it was just my nerve endings healing.

Nerves take a long time to heal. My stomach tingled like it had fallen asleep for over 6 months after my C-section! Muscles take a long time to heal too. Return to activities slowly, just like when you start any exercise program. As long as things are improving, you're fine.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
