Has anyone heard of miscarriage being a result of not being able to carry a baby of a certain sex? I've recently spoken to someone who has had 3 miscarriages but is now almost full term. She already has a young daughter but had 3 mc's after having her. They were trying for a boy as they are in their late 30's so wanted a boy to complete their family. They had researched the best way to try to concieve a boy and were using these. She now believes that she may have a problem with carrying boys as she is sure that she is carrying another girl. The older women in her family say that it is a belief that some women can't carry certain sex babies. I already have a son and both times I've been pregnant since and mc'd, my DH and I have had a feeling they were girls. Could there be a biological reason behind this? What does anyone think?
