Has any one ever heard of a link between IBS and Miscarriage. During my 10 weeks of pregnancy my stomach was in horrible pain Gas bloating and constipation. I have suffered from IBS for as long as I can remember, but it was excrutiating will I was pregnant. I can't help but blame myself for the mc and think that my horrible stomach was a bad environment for the baby. Any thoughts or advice?????/

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't suffer from IBS but I have had 3 pregnancies, one succesful. During all 3 I had a lot of bloating, gas and constipation. I think it's just part of pregnancy, obviously if you have IBS it would make things worse. I think when we lose a child we look at every possible thing that could have caused it and think this is probably why you are blaming yourself. It was most probably nothing to do with this, blame is part of the grieving process, I have even thought about blaming lavendar shower gel! It turns out that wasn't the case. Take care and try to stop blaiming yourself, I wish you well for the future. Good luck

I've never heard of a link. Also not an IBS sufferer, though I had a lot of bloating/gas/constipation during both my pregnancies (one successful). I think it's just your body responding to being pregnant - funny how pregnancy symptoms are often so unpleasant, even though it's for such a good reason! I really doubt it impacted your baby at all

I just had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a nurse pratitioner. She has a work friend who has had unexplained m/c and infertility issues. This friend was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and was told that with control of the is disease, she could conceive and carry a healthy baby to term. FYI, check into it!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
