Hello my DS friends.. I was just wondering if any of you have dealt with Kell during your pregnancy..it was in my first trimester blood work.. and my doctors missed it.. until my Monthly visit in July.. one of the other dr's in my practices was looking through my chart and saw the lab paper with the K-antigen listed.. with no titer- some of you who know me here already know Ella's story. but I was wondering if anyone else had Dr errors involved in losing their child.. I am at a point in my grief where I have to decide what to do legally about this.. I have researched Fetal Anemia.. (what Ella died from)- and have also spoken to women who have had healthy babies that had the K antigen factor- in their cases -it was discovered in their first trimester.. as mine SHOULD have been. I am so angry with my former Dr's.. and I do not blame them for the Kell.. but I do feel they were negligent by not discovering it before my 5th month.. any thoughts or input will be appreciated..
