Has anyone else had their breast milk come in due to hormones. I had my daughter over two weeks ago, and my breasts have been leaking ever since. Not a whole lot, but enough to make me want to call my doctor and do something about it. Has anyone tried any remedies or prescriptions to make it stop?

My doctor said that they didn't give the shot to "dry" your milk up around here any more (not sure about anywhere else) but instead suggested binding. Try an Ace Bandage and wrap it around your upper body. It helped me some.

I know that cold medicines and benadryl (designed to dry your sinuses) is not recommended for breastfeeding moms because it can dry up milk. You may try taking some benadryl for a few days to see if that doesn't speed up the process or something.

My doctor recommended wearing a tight bra, a whole size smaller cup, putting nursing pads in place and taking ibuprofen (Advil) for any discomfort. It worked.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll have to try the suggestions and see if that doesn't work. Thank you!

When I visited my folks in South Africa in February the doctor prescribed me some tablets specially designed for drying up breast milk - so maybe go to your GP and see if he/she will prescribe you something.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
