Okay, everyone. I have a question. On Nov. 5th I go to the dr and I am going to start discussing fertility testing. I am sure she will ask well have you done this or that. We have done everything we can think of and what I have read of the net but I wanted to see if there are any things she may ask that I could ''stretch the truth a little bit'' because I do not want to hear you are only 24 you have plenty of time which seems to be a popular answer. Without trying to sound mean about it that is not the answer I am looking for obviously why do you think I am there? The way i see it, and I could be wrong, is that if there is a problem now it will be there when I am older and I want to try any options we may have. So to end this long rambling if you guys could give me any advice on what to expect or what I can say to get them to start any testing please let me know. Thank you so much. It's most appreciated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Tell you doctor if you are willing to pay for the tests if your insurance won't cover them.
The fact you tried for over a year should allow insurance coverage of fertility testing and means that you should be tested. Make sure you discuss your entire medical and health history. Mention if you work with any hazardous chemicals, etc.
Remember that if she won't run tests you are free to see another doctor (assuming your town size and insurance give you options). She works for you.
Best of luck to you!
