Hi all,
So, I'm having what I believe is my first period after the miscarriage. I started cramping and bloating yesterday - my typical AF signs - which have decreased significantly today.
My question is, what is the first period post-MC like? Is it usually "different" than your normal cycle? I'm reading that it can be a lot of things - lighter or heavier, a lot shorter than usual or longer - and that there's really no "normal" per se.
Just wondered if your experience with your first cycle after miscarrying was different than a "normal period" for you. Trying to figure out what the heck my body's doing. Still.

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
PS: You guys may laugh, but I am new, a member since early December (post miscarriage), I have trouble reading some of the acronyms, such as AF, DH, RE? Is there somewhere on this website that I can refer to in order to pick up on the meanings? LOL.
DH = dear husband
DS = dear son (so on when it comes to a D in front of it)
AF = aunt flow
RE = reproductive endocranologiest (cant spell that one but you get what i am say..haha)
just give it time you will learn them..
I guess that's why my RE said I should wait a couple of months to start infertility testing. We plan to start in February.
So thanks again for responding and helping me understand what my crazy body is doing!
