Hi My Friends,
As some of you know, I lost my twin babies three months ago. I have fibroids but they are all located outside of my cavity so they didn't see any problem for me to get pregnant. I did (through IVF) but I miscarried in 15 weeks. They ran all kinds of tests that you name it but everything came back normal. Now the only issue that they see is my fibroids which the biggest one is 5cm. Now I scheduled my Myomectomy for next month. There are risks involved but this is my last check list from my Infertility list.
Please tell me if I making the right decision or if you had any experience with Myomectomy or fibroids.
I'm so scared! I don't want to miscarry again and I don't like the risks that involves from the surgery.

Hello.. I am new here but I saw your post and although I have not had a myomectomy, I have had a hysteroscopy. When I was pregnant the second time and had my 7 week scan the ob saw what she thought was a fibroid and told me that it would not be an issue with the pregnancy. I miscarried at 9 weeks 1 day and went to see a fertility doctor as this was the second miscarriage and he did a procedere called and SHG and found what the ob did but he said it was a uterine polyp and although did not say if that was the reason for the miscarriage he did want to remove it so I went for the hysteroscopy. Sometimes we have to go with our gut feeling. There are always risks and this is a very personal choice! Good luck!

Thank you so much for your post and I'm sorry for your losses. This is the last thing that I need to do so I won't have any regrets at the end.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
