I found out on Monday that our baby never developed and I have a blighted ovum. They put pills in there to start the process of the m/c. I had the same thing back in April and they put the pills in then too. Last time, I bled HEAVY for 4 hours straight, soaking pads every 1/2 hour and filling the toilet with blood. This time, most of it happened over night. The thing I am not sure of is that I only filled about 3 pads and the toilet has not been really red with blood. I did catch some tissue and what I believe to be the "products of conception". However since it was so much less blood, I am worried that I am not done and I will begin to bleed again. Anyone else have a similar situation or just bleed very little during their m/c? Thanks for your input! :)

I didn't bleed too much. Maybe a pad every 2-3 hours. And that was only for about a day. Then i just spotted for a few days. I didn't have the pill tho, I did everything naturally. Good luck.. but maybe you should call your doctor.. they tested me afterwards to make sure everything was done.

Okay, I called the doctor and she said that just like every pregnancy is different, every m/c is different, but that I might still bleed again this week, that I might not be done yet. So I guess we will see tomorrow at my apt. Thanks for the advice. :)

Make sure to follow up on this. I bled for a while during the start of my m/c and thought that was it - but it wasn't. I had a D&C weeks later. My doctor said my case was rather unusual, but it can happen. I don't think there's much physical harm that can come, but it's good to have it done with, if you know what I mean...

I bled for 2-3weeks followed by 2 weeks off and then I started in Oct. for 1 week and spotted until last Tuesday (I had started the pill in Oct. right after the bleeding started back). I noticed during the first few weeks after m/c my bleeding would let up some and then get back heavy. Also while I was in the Hospital for the m/c, after it was all over I had some tissue that came out after delivery was over. The Dr. told me that it was some of the lining of the uterus and some tissues from conception. If you think your bleeding is too much or too heavy call your OB. I know I did when I had the spotting that wouldn't stop. And other times when I thought something was up. Hope this helps.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
