My husband wants to join the National Guard. We have a 6 week old baby. He would be gone for 4 months for training and schooling. And I hate the idea that he can be deployed and I will never know if he will be or not, and that it can be for like a whole year. I would be sooooo depressed if that happened. I am afraid of being away from him for so long because not only will I miss him immensely, but also I am afraid of starting to feel disconnected from him after a while. I hate feeling that way. I need him here. I hate this. But we really need the money. He has student loans, he just lost his job, and we are so broke. :-(

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
