A couple of months back I posted an offer to build personalized fishing rods at my costs as a homecoming gift for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. I later modified that post to make these free of charge and extended it to all Vets. The free ones are nothing special, just they are personalized. The first of November I realized I had a birthday and Christmas coming up and had to suspend this offer because of finances. I will resume building these rods the first of the year. I will start taking orders the first of Dec. and will be ordering parts the first of Jan.
If you would like one of these for yourself or a loved one, send me a message and I will contact you. These are made on a first order first build basis. The only preference is to recipients of the Purple Heart or metals of valor. It also extends to the spouse or dependants of soldiers.

What a wonderful offer! It is so kind of you to do something from your heart. While I will not accept your offer myself, as my brother has much more fishing gear than he needs and rarely has time to use. I thank you.

Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
