Hi Im new here and probally wont offer much advice until I know how this who military thing works better. MY Husband joined the National Guard (mainly that branch for hopes of staying state side) and scheduled his departure for bootcamp for May 16. With boot camp and Advanced training he wil be gone a good 6 and a half months. We have a 3 year old and when I have gone away even for 4 days she has gotten very upset and moppy. How do you prepare a 3 year old for such a long leave and how do you keep the daddy in the daily routine so that the child knows that daddy is there and loves her very much? He wont be able to have much contact with us at least at first and after basic we dont know how much contact he will be able to have. Any suggestions would be very welcome. I dont want my daughter to go throguth to much trama thinking her daddy is never coming home again.
Thanks in advance

This test went HORRIBLY. They were about 20 seconds or so into...
