Today's military family faces a lifestyle that is comprised of frequent deployments, which results in increased family separations. This often proves to be a stressful challenge for military families. This community is dedicated to the families that are dealing with the unique challenges of distance and military-related stress.
I prefered living on post. The quarters were nicer than what I could afford to rent and we did 90% of our shopping on post. Also living on post ment less travel time for me. When I was at White Sands Missle Range, living off post ment a 44 mile trip to work and then 44 miles back home.Living on post it was only 5 minutes to and from work.
