Hi guys. For those of you that don't know, I am a very active member on the ED's board, but I had to come over here for some words of strong advice. I have suffered from Anorexia and Bulimia for over half my life. I have been in and out of treatment and am almost 6 months sober. Long story short, my medical detox/rehab was covered, I was supposed to go from detox straight to rehab (all was covered through Tricare and set up) while in detox, they picked up on the eating disorder and told me that they wouldn't take me into rehab until I was stable with the ED. I went back home (6 1/2hrs away) and the outpatient program wasn't at all what it used to be. Sorry, I am making this longer than need be. We relocated durning this time and I found a place here in WA that both their facility and tricare said they would cover. Here comes the PROBLEM. The facility is saying tricare does not cover the nutrition part. I have been on the phone w/ tricare and I will be calling them again. I am posting this question b/c I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar "issue". Or any words of advice on how to handle tricare on this matter? I am disturbed b/c the lady I met w/ for the evaluation basically said "well, you don't meet all of a criteria for full coverage" I don't care what anyone tells me, when it comes to ED's it normally means close to your death bed. Again, if anyone has any suggestions on how to approach tricare, I'd greatly appreciate it. Is there any hope of tricare helping out?
Thanks in advance,
Thanks in advance,

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
