PTSD is a very real and serious disorder. It can be caused by many different things, most are war related. At least that is where it started. It affects different people in different ways. There are many anti social behaviors and much depression related to PSTD.
I have read many articles and peoples accounts of thing they have done because of PTSD. They are sad, especially those of people suffering from debilitating depression.
Some have made me wonder, such as a person blaming drug addiction, alcoholism, spousal abuse or child abuse on PTSD. Is this valid or is it simply an easy, government provided excuse for their criminal or antisocial behavior. Who can say these people would not have been the same even if they hadnt gone to war. I recently went to a website where a man was blaming the government because children services took his kids away because he abused them because of his PTSD. I have a hard time believing that was the cause.

I do agree with your questioning. I think its a fine line though. I have a friend who in my opinion does suffer from PTSD, however he loves what he does being a Marine and going and doing whatever it is that he does. I do believe he is in denial about his situation.

I dated a man for 9 months who had PTSD. He had alcohalism. He blamed the PTSD for all the things he ever did wrong. It was never his fault! I for one dealing with it first hand and have been mental and emotionally abused by someone who has PTSD...I think it is a big cop out and they use it to cover up the true person inside...The war is tragic. and I do belive some people truely have PTSD but The ones who harm other people, were always that way now they just have an excuse to cover it up.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
