I have to make a decision and I need to make it today: I hope I can get some of your input, I am really unsure of myself on this one.
I have waited at least a month with a neurologist that supposedly specializes in headaches and pain management. He is at a distance and I have to depend, to "beg" for my husband to take me to the visits. This man has credentials up his ka-zoo. He is also the one that required me to fill out a health form online. The thing is that all the questions about sex and how I deal with getting Aids frankly bother me. I get the feeling that I will be dealing with a very condescending individual. I want whatever physician I choose to talk with me, not at me.
Then there is a headache center 2 mile away from me, one that I can drive to and from myself. Only problem is that he is a PhD, not an MD..offers a lot of treatments, but only claims "substances available". I don't think i want to meditate when my head is splitting open, I want pain relief available. I don't understand what he is offering, exactly...does he refer to an MD for meds? Will that mean a separate visit on these occasions? I'm just too tired at this point to be spinning my wheels, my wheels are worn out from these headaches.
I would be so grateful for some refreshing opinions....!!!

I wish I could help you - I've had these headaches for a long time and have a good doc that really cares. Maybe a change of docs ?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
