So a quick background on me. I take Migrelief, Topimax and Venlafaxine every day and Zomig at onset. I know that I need to stop these medications if I intend to get pregnant (not sure on the migrelief). I also know that because I have had gastric bypass any time I have an upset stomach for too long and my nutrition lapses I get migraines (this is a separate issue, but relevant to my health).
My question is this - have any of you had pregnancies while dealing with the migraines? Would you be willing to share what your experiences were like? My husband and I are discussing having children right now and I'm honestly terrified. My mother had non-stop migraines during her pregnancies, which is I've been told is a bad sign for me. I'm just worried that if I get pregnant I'll end up in horrible pain the entire time and won't be able to handle it. Any and all advice/stories would be immensly appreciated!! Thank you all in advance!!
